Our Company

We always put our clients’ interests and welfare first and give priority to forming long-term relationships. Our commitment is exemplified by the fact that we are one of the very few brokers in the world who can provide a six day a week service.

The company’s roots are within the PWS Group. It was founded by Messrs. Pearson, Webb, and Springbett in London in 1964 as a Lloyd’s reinsurance broker; the company name was later shortened to PWS during the 1980s. Continued organic growth lead to the opening of further companies.

Our History

PWS Gulf was founded in Dubai in 1998 and is able to efficiently transact a broad range of insurance and reinsurance classes in addition to the traditional Property and Casualty classes. Having hired a team of dedicated professionals, we are committed to always ensuring a high standard of service for our clients. In addition, although we transact reinsurance business, we also have developed relationships with direct clients particularly in the Marine, Contracting, and Financial Institutions fields.

At PWS Gulf, the client’s needs always come first, unlike many insurance organisations which so often put their own goals and agenda ahead of those of their clients. We will therefore do our best to be innovative, efficient, and to seek solutions to your insurance needs. In particular, we tailor make insurance wordings to our clients precise requirements, rather than giving them “off the shelf ” products.
